Job Overview

The Senior HR Manager will occupy a strategic position within the organizational structure, serving as the primary leader responsible for all HR functions and departments. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports organizational growth and operational goals.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from sourcing and selection & recruitment, to performance management, career development, and retention of key talent.
  • Organizational Development: Lead organizational culture change initiatives, training & development programs, and succession planning to build future leaders.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage a fair and attractive rewards and benefits structure, including periodic salary reviews and competitive benefits packages.
  • Industrial Relations: Ensure positive employee relations, handle grievances effectively, and maintain full compliance with Omani labor law and relevant regulations.
  • HR Systems & Processes: Oversee the improvement and implementation of HR systems and processes to enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and develop the HR team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on results and service excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Manager or Senior Manager level) in a corporate environment. Experience in the Omani or GCC job market is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge: Proven in-depth knowledge of Omani labor law and regulatory practices. Strong command of all strategic and operational HR areas.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and influencing abilities, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performance teams.
  • Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong strategic thinking, complex problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
