Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will play a pivotal role within Envnt's development team. The responsibilities will center on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software systems. The engineer will work closely with product managers, designers, and other team members to translate complex requirements into effective and reliable software solutions.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Lead or significantly contribute to software architecture design and the development of new core features for the company's systems.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code. Implement development best practices such as Code Reviews and Unit Testing.
• Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical problems and develop robust and appropriate solutions.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Act as a technical reference within the team, providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for architecture and code.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on a software engineering role.
• Deep expertise in one or more common programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles (SOLID), design patterns, and scalable system architecture.
• Practical experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with microservices concepts, containers (Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a strong plus.
• Experience using version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

• Experience in developing and deploying applications on public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
