Silvus, a leading provider of advanced communication and technology solutions, is seeking an exceptional Strategic Territory Director to lead and develop its business in the markets of the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman. This position represents a unique leadership opportunity for ambitious professionals with deep experience in strategic sales management and business development within the technology sector in the Gulf region.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Strategic Territory Director will be the primary executive responsible for charting the course and achieving the financial and strategic objectives for Silvus in the designated territory. The focus will be on building and enhancing the customer portfolio, strengthening market presence, and leading all aspects of the sales cycle from planning to closure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales and business strategy for the territory (UAE & Oman) to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and leading business development efforts with new clients, focusing on key verticals such as defense, security, and communications.
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing strategic customers, ensuring their complete satisfaction and maximizing the value derived from Silvus products and services.
  • Leading negotiations and closing major contracts, in collaboration with internal legal and technical teams.
  • Analyzing market trends and competition, providing detailed reports to senior management with proactive recommendations.
  • Representing Silvus at leading industry events and conferences in the region to enhance brand visibility and build networks.
  • Working closely with technical and engineering support teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet complex customer needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Silvus is looking for a candidate with a proven track record and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in high-tech sales or strategic account management, with a documented history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep hands-on experience and strong knowledge of the UAE and Oman markets, with an established professional network in defense, security, or communications sectors.
  • Excellent understanding of complex, long-cycle sales processes, particularly involving government, semi-government, or large enterprise entities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills at all levels, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective coordination with global teams.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
