Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful Waiter/Waitress will be assigned to the company's catering team and will be primarily responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service. The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Greeting customers and escorting them to their tables or service areas at different events.
• Presenting menus and providing clear explanations of ingredients and signature dishes when needed.
• Taking food and drink orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serving food and beverages to guests in an organized and elegant manner, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Attending to additional customer requests during their service and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff and other floor team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Setting up tables and preparing service areas before guest arrival and clearing them after service.
• Handling payments and Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions accurately and securely.
• Adhering to all company policies and standards, particularly regarding food safety and professional appearance.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or catering.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times and large events.
• Friendly and polite personality with the ability to handle diverse customers.
• Professional appearance and physical fitness to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work during various shifts, including weekends and evenings, based on event requirements.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and health procedures (training provided by the company will be a plus).
