Founded in 2008 by Mehmet Altınbaş Education and Culture Foundation as “Istanbul Kemerburgaz University”, our university continues 2017-2018 academic year under the name ‘Altınbaş University’. Altınbaş University, founded on the will of late businessman Mehmet Altınbaş - who invested in education, has always been the most valuable social responsibility project for the Altınbaş family. Along with the name change, University, which took the power of Altınbaş Holding, began to walk with this driving force faster and more safely to its new targets. Altınbaş University, which admitted its first students in 2011-2012 academic year, is growing rapidly towards becoming an international research university with its breakthroughs in a short time. Altınbaş University, which holds 9 faculties, 3 Institutes and 2 vocational colleges in 2017-2018 academic year, continues to teach in total with 30 undergraduate, 34 associate degree, 28 master's and 6 doctoral programs. In Altınbaş University, departments are determined with the vision of being an entrepreneur and innovative university that makes a difference in the professional field with its graduates and adding value to universal science and the needs of the world and Turkey are analyzed well. Following education agenda and technology, our university constantly updates itself and provides service with its mission of being a high prior university, providing innovative research and environment for innovation, providing original contributions with a sense of social responsibility.
