Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The AI/ML Platform Architect will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and governance of a secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure that supports enterprise-wide AI/ML projects. Core responsibilities include:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and planning of the overall AI/ML platform infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and emerging technologies.
• Platform Development: Build and implement unified platforms and environments that enable data scientists and ML engineers to efficiently develop, deploy, monitor, and manage models.
• Cloud/Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Architect cloud-based (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or hybrid solutions capable of supporting the massive data and compute workloads required for advanced AI models.
• Scalability & Performance Optimization: Optimize platform performance for handling big data sets and ensure the architecture can scale elastically to meet growing demands.
• Security & Compliance: Implement stringent security controls to protect sensitive data and models, ensuring the platform adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Integration & Automation: Develop automated pipelines (MLOps) for data flow, model training, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) for machine learning workflows.
• Guidance & Leadership: Act as a technical expert and consultant for internal teams, providing guidance on best practices in AI platform engineering and architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software engineering or architecture roles, with a strong focus in recent years on designing and building AI/ML platforms or related large-scale infrastructure.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Advanced Technical Skills:
  • Deep expertise in public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and their native AI/ML services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ML/data science tools and workflows (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Airflow, MLflow).
  • In-depth knowledge of databases, big data processing (Hadoop/Spark), and data engineering principles.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges, strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
