Job Description

The Civil Draughtsman at Simplifyprocess will be responsible for a core set of tasks focused on translating engineers' concepts and initial sketches into precise, executable technical drawings and details. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed technical drawings for civil and structural engineering projects using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD.
• Working closely with civil engineers and designers to understand project requirements and convert them into clear graphical documentation.
• Reviewing preliminary sketches and making necessary modifications based on engineering team feedback or client specifications.
• Producing drawings for site plans, foundations, structural details, and utility layouts (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Ensuring the accuracy of all drawings and their compliance with local UAE engineering standards and project specifications.
• Updating and maintaining an archive of drawings and technical documents.
• Assisting in the preparation of document packages required for tenders and construction processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or a related field.
• Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 years as a Civil Draughtsman in a professional setting, preferably within the UAE or Gulf market.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (recent versions) is essential.
  • Good knowledge of other CAD software (e.g., Revit) will be a strong advantage.
