Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Dermatologist will be responsible for a range of core professional duties, including:

• Diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of dermatological conditions: including eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin infections, and autoimmune skin diseases.
• Performing specialized clinical examinations: and providing accurate patient consultations based on their condition.
• Prescribing appropriate treatment plans: which may include topical/oral medications, phototherapy, or minor medical procedures.
• Performing select non-surgical cosmetic procedures: in line with expertise and licensing (e.g., Botox, fillers, chemical peels, removal of benign skin lesions).
• Working within the consultancy team: to contribute to developing healthcare programs related to skin health and providing expertise to partner health institutions.

• Complying with all applicable medical regulations and laws in the State of Kuwait.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Medical Degree: Hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or equivalent.
• Specialization: Possess a recognized Board Certification or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Dermatology and Venereology.
• Licensing: Must hold a valid license to practice medicine in Kuwait, or be eligible to obtain one through credential verification.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in dermatology post-specialization. Experience in consultancy clinics or private medical centers is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues, ability to work within a team, and commitment to humanitarian medical practice.
• Language: Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
