Job Description

The appointed Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning stages through to final delivery. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position operates within a vital sector in the Kingdom, requiring a deep understanding of local requirements and technical regulations.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Technical Supervision: Direct management of technical teams and contractors to ensure correct mechanical design and implementation.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient utilization of human and material resources.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all project work complies with standard specifications and stringent safety regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on project progress, risks, and budget to senior management.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is considered a distinct advantage.
• Recognized professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly valued and preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in mechanical project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience working within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf market, with an understanding of the local operational environment and regulations.
• Experience in sectors such as construction, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in project management software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, in English. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
• High analytical and problem-solving ability, with decisive decision-making under pressure.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
