Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will hold a pivotal role in bridging advanced technical solutions with customer needs in the construction industry. The primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase the company's market share in the Omani market, focusing on major contracting sectors, commercial and residential projects, and engineering consultancy firms.
• Prospecting for new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, including real estate developers, contractors, architects, and consulting engineers.
• Providing specialized technical support to customers, including preparing technical proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and recommending appropriate solutions for specific project challenges (e.g., concrete treatment, adhesives, sealants, repair materials).
• Regularly preparing sales reports and forecasts, and following up with clients to ensure sales targets and budgets are met.
• Working closely with the internal technical support and logistics team to ensure exceptional customer service delivery and meet project requirements on time.
• Attending industry-specific trade exhibitions and staying updated on the latest technical developments in the field of construction chemicals.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related engineering field.
• Work Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in sales of construction chemicals or related construction materials. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Omani or Gulf market.
• Technical Skills: A deep understanding of the properties and applications of various construction chemicals (concrete admixtures, epoxy-based products, sealants, etc.).
• Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
