Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The appointed Radiologist will play a pivotal role in providing accurate diagnostic services and consultative support within the healthcare system. The primary responsibilities for this position are expected to include:
- Performing and interpreting a wide range of medical imaging examinations, which may include: X-rays, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Ultrasound.
- Preparing accurate and clear diagnostic reports based on imaging findings and communicating results to referring physicians or relevant healthcare teams.
- Providing specialized consultation to physicians regarding the most appropriate imaging modalities and diagnostic pathways for various medical conditions.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and formulate suitable treatment plans.
- Ensuring strict adherence to the highest standards of radiation safety and protection for patients and medical staff.
- Contributing to quality assurance and process improvement initiatives within the radiology department or affiliated medical centers of the consultancy.
- Maintaining accurate and properly documented medical records in compliance with the regulations and laws in force in the State of Kuwait.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications

- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery, followed by a recognized specialization board certification or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid medical license to practice from the relevant health authorities in Kuwait (e.g., the Kuwait Ministry of Health), or be eligible to obtain one. Preference will be given to candidates with an already active license.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-specialization practical experience in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology. Experience in consultancy environments or large hospital settings is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating modern medical imaging equipment and related software for image viewing and analysis (PACS).
- Personal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team, high attention to detail and accuracy, and a strong commitment to medical ethics.
- Language: Fluency in English for professional communication and technical reporting. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a significant advantage.
