Job Description and Responsibilities

The incumbent will hold a vital leadership and operational position within the services department. Their core responsibilities will focus on the direct supervision of both periodic and emergency maintenance operations, as well as leading and executing system upgrade (Retrofit) projects for existing electrical and mechanical systems to enhance their performance and compliance with modern standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and directing specialized technical teams in field maintenance and retrofit work.
• Effectively planning and scheduling routine service operations and preventive maintenance visits for clients.
• Directly supervising the execution of electrical and mechanical system retrofit projects, from planning to final handover, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Diagnosing complex system faults and providing effective engineering solutions.
• Ensuring full compliance with all applicable local and international Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all work sites.
• Preparing accurate technical reports on equipment status, maintenance work performed, and retrofit project progress.
• Liaising directly with clients to provide technical explanations, understand their requirements, and ensure their complete satisfaction with the service level.
• Managing inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for the team's operations.
• Contributing to the training and skill development of team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

This role requires a candidate with a strong engineering background and proven leadership skills.

Essential Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and retrofitting of electrical and mechanical systems, with progressive experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical control systems, motors, distribution systems, and related mechanical equipment.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams under pressure.
• Proficiency in complex problem-solving and making quick, effective decisions.
• A valid UAE driving license will be a distinct advantage.
