Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant-Payables at Dubai Taxi Company, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and monitoring the company's accounts payable
- Processing invoices and financial documents accurately and on time
- Following up on payments to suppliers and contractors
- Performing periodic bank and supplier reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports related to accounts payable
- Ensuring compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations
- Contributing to internal and external audit processes
Qualifications and Requirements
- Nationality: Must be a UAE National (UAEN)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting, preferably in accounts payable
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks)
- Personal Skills: High accuracy, strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure
- Language: Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge: Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local financial regulations
