Job Description

As an Accountant or Tax Accountant at LG Electronics, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and tax tasks ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing daily journal entries and reviewing accounts.
• Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Handling tax returns (VAT, income tax, Zakat) in accordance with Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority regulations.
• Monitoring tax updates and ensuring full compliance.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.
• Supporting the finance team in financial data analysis and budget preparation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or tax accounting, preferably in multinational corporations or the electronics sector.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Saudi tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• High analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
