Job Description
Hill International (Middle East) Ltd., a globally recognized leader in project management and construction consulting, is seeking a highly qualified Contracts Management Department Manager to join its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Contracts Management Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing all contract management activities across major projects managed by the company in Saudi Arabia and the region. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing contract strategies, managing tender and procurement processes, reviewing and drafting contract clauses, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and senior management to ensure project objectives are met in terms of cost, schedule, and quality. This role also involves leading a team of contracts professionals, providing technical and administrative guidance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in contracts management, with at least 5 years in a similar managerial role.
- Professional Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCM (Certified Construction Manager), FIDIC accredited, or other recognized contracts management credentials.
- Skills:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a strong plus.
- In-depth knowledge of various contract types (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, etc.).
- Proven experience in claims management, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project and contract management software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, Oracle).
- Understanding of Saudi labor laws and government regulations.
