Job Description

Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. is seeking a qualified Airport HSE Engineer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection are maintained at airport project sites, in compliance with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE management plans for airport projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and provide preventive recommendations.
  • Train workers and contractors on safety practices and environmental procedures.
  • Prepare periodic HSE performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE requirements into all work phases.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Safety, Environmental, or Civil Engineering).
  • Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in airport or large infrastructure projects.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
