Job Description

Sulzer Ltd, a global leader in pumping solutions and industrial equipment, is seeking a highly experienced Head of Procurement to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the company's procurement strategy, ensuring supply chain efficiency, and maximizing value from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve optimal performance.
  • Negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Manage risks related to supply chain and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Engineering, Production, Finance) to ensure process alignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the oil & gas or industrial equipment industry is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement management systems (ERP) and global best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
