The company is actively seeking to hire an Airport QA/QC Manager to join its teams working on major giga-projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Airport QA/QC Manager will hold a senior leadership position, bearing full responsibility for all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems on assigned airport projects. The core responsibilities will be comprehensive and will focus on:

  • Leading, developing, and implementing the project-specific QA/QC strategy and systems in compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001), local Saudi regulations, and client specifications.
  • Overseeing all inspection and testing processes for materials, structural works, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems related to airport construction projects.
  • Managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality regulations on the project site.
  • Conducting periodic internal audits and process reviews to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed quality status reports to senior project management and company leadership, highlighting any risks or non-conformances.
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure their adherence to agreed-upon quality standards.
  • Investigating non-conformance reports and quality incidents, and developing corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address and prevent recurrence.
  • Reviewing and approving contractors' submitted Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) prior to the commencement of works.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field) from an accredited university. A postgraduate degree (Master’s) or specialized professional certifications will be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of proven experience in quality management and quality assurance, with a strong, demonstrable focus on major airport projects or similar critical infrastructure projects. Experience in the Middle East region, particularly within Saudi Arabia, is highly crucial.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), international construction standards, civil aviation regulations, and the construction lifecycle of airport development projects (from design to handover).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a multicultural team, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in English. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is highly preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities for complex issues, meticulous attention to detail, and high professional integrity.
