Job Overview

An Anesthesia Technician is a vital member of any surgical or healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct technical support to anesthesiologists before, during, and after surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Preparing and setting up anesthesia machines and vital signs monitors prior to surgical procedures.

• Assisting the anesthesiologist with patient airway management and administering medications/IV fluids under supervision.
• Continuously monitoring the patient under anesthesia and accurately recording vital readings.
• Assisting in transferring the patient to the recovery room and ensuring their post-operative stability.
• Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and sterilization of anesthesia equipment.
• Managing inventory of anesthesia-related medical consumables and participating in supply ordering.
• Strictly adhering to all institutional safety and infection control protocols.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Academic Certificate: A diploma or certificate in Anesthesia Technology from an accredited institute or college.
• Licensing: Applicants must possess a valid Anesthesia Technician practice license from the relevant health authorities in Kuwait (e.g., the Kuwait Ministry of Health). Candidates with transferable/equivalent licenses may be considered.
• Experience: The company prefers candidates with prior practical experience in anesthesia technology, whether in government hospitals, private hospitals, or surgical centers.
