Job Description
The appointed Barista will be responsible for a range of key duties focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining high-quality standards:
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare a wide variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, americano, etc.) and cold drinks with precision and speed, adhering to established standard recipes.
- Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take their orders, provide advice on drink selections when needed, and ensure their complete satisfaction with both service and product.
- Daily Operations: Correctly operate and maintain coffee preparation equipment (espresso machines, grinders), ensuring they are kept clean and functional at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies, and inform the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area (the bar) and all tools throughout the shift, complying with all health and safety standards.
