Job Description and Responsibilities

The Brand & Customer Manager will be responsible for leading and executing integrated marketing strategies for a product or product portfolio within the CIS (Cardio-Immunology & Respiratory) area in the Saudi market. This position is a pivotal role in achieving the company's growth and market share objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the strategic brand planning process, including identifying market opportunities, setting clear objectives, and developing comprehensive action plans to achieve desired growth.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle within the local market, from launch through maturity, continuously adapting strategies based on market performance and competitive intelligence.
  • Integrated Campaign Leadership: Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital and traditional) targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients, ensuring alignment with global regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify medical and behavioral trends to derive strategic insights that support decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Be responsible for preparing and effectively managing the brand's marketing budget, ensuring a compelling return on investment.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to provide necessary tools and training materials, collaborate with medical affairs, regulatory, and market access teams to ensure seamless strategy execution.
  • Team Leadership: Where applicable, the role may involve supervising a team of marketing specialists, providing guidance, and developing their skills to achieve brand goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

MSD is looking for professional candidates with proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare marketing.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences). A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or similar qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare marketing, with a proven track record in brand management. Experience in the CIS therapeutic area (Immunology, Rheumatology, Respiratory diseases) is a significant plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority, with excellent project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Communication Skills: Possess high-level communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian healthcare market, regulatory environment, and dynamics of working with HCPs.
  • Personality: The candidate should be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a team spirit and adaptability to change.
