Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Cluster Director of Food & Beverages will hold a strategic leadership position, responsible for overseeing the F&B operations across multiple Accor properties in the Kingdom. The focus will be on driving operational and financial excellence across a portfolio of restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and other food outlets. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive cluster-wide F&B strategy aligned with Accor's vision and individual hotel goals.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, monitor the financial performance of all F&B outlets, and ensure Revenue and Gross Operating Profit (GOP) targets are met. This includes cost control, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to the highest standards of quality, service, and food safety across all operations. Review and develop operational standards and procedures.
- Commercial Development & Revenue Growth: Lead sales and marketing initiatives for F&B outlets, including designing attractive menus and promotional offers. Explore new revenue-generating opportunities.
- Talent Management: Lead, mentor, and develop F&B teams across the various hotels. Contribute to recruitment, staff training, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Supplier & Inventory Management: Oversee purchasing processes, vendor selection, and inventory management to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
- Guest Satisfaction Assurance: Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics (e.g., NPS) and take corrective actions to continuously enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record of 8-10 years in Food & Beverage management within the luxury or upscale hotel sector, with at least 3 years in a Cluster/Regional or multi-unit leadership role.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of all aspects of F&B operations, including culinary, service, beverage management, food safety (e.g., HACCP), and cost control.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and motivate diverse, multi-cultural teams. Excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Financial & Analytical Acumen: Strong proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and interpreting financial statements (P&L). A results-driven and profitability-focused mindset.
- Business Acumen: Ability to develop effective sales and marketing strategies. Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers and partners.
- Adaptability: Capability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities across different locations.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in F&B management are a plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
