Collections Manager | Naseej - Riyadh

Naseej is currently seeking applications for the position of Collections Manager at its headquarters in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role represents a critical leadership position within the company's financial structure, where the incumbent will be responsible for leading and developing collection strategies and procedures to ensure healthy cash flow and maintain controlled debt levels.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Collections Manager will lead a specialized team and be directly accountable for all collection activities within the company. Core responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Development: Leading and guiding the collections team towards defined targets. Developing team skills through continuous training and coaching.
  • Strategy Formulation: Designing and implementing effective collection strategies to enhance debt recovery rates and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

  • Reporting & Analysis: Preparing detailed periodic reports on collections performance and providing analysis to sales and finance management regarding the status of receivables and potential trends.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensuring all collection procedures comply with local laws, regulations, and the company's internal policies.
  • Internal Collaboration: Working closely with Sales, Accounting, and Legal departments (if applicable) to resolve complex delinquency cases.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable management, with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role for at least 3 years.
  • Key Skills:
    • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
    • Ability to handle difficult customer situations with firmness and professionalism.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
    • Proficiency in computer applications, accounting software, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    • Knowledge of relevant commercial laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
