Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Consultant Psychiatrist will hold a pivotal role within a multidisciplinary team, with primary responsibilities including:

• Providing Specialized Psychiatric Consultations & Assessments: Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adult patients presenting with a wide spectrum of mental and psychiatric disorders.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications

• Educational Background: A primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialized training in Psychiatry.
• Post-Graduate Certification: Possession of a recognized fellowship or board certification in Adult Psychiatry (e.g., Arab Board, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - ABPN, Canadian Board, UK Royal College MRCPsych or equivalent).
• Licensing: A valid medical license from the country of qualification. The ability to obtain licensure from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is a fundamental requirement.
