Job Description
As a CTD Driller, you will be responsible for supervising drilling operations using coiled tubing technology, ensuring efficient and safe workflow. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating coiled tubing drilling equipment according to operational plans and technical standards.
- Supervising the field team and ensuring their compliance with safety procedures.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring its readiness.
- Monitoring drilling parameters such as pressure, depth, and temperature.
- Preparing daily reports on operational progress and any technical issues.
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians to improve drilling performance.
Required Qualifications
To apply for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling, with at least 3 years of specific experience operating Coiled Tubing Drilling (CTD) equipment.
- Certifications: Valid and recognized certifications in drilling and safety, such as IWCF or IADC Well Control certification at the appropriate level.
- Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of all types of CTD equipment, ability to read technical drawings, and solve mechanical and hydraulic problems.
- Language: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as it is the primary working language on site.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work in challenging environments for extended periods and adherence to strict safety standards.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent leadership skills, ability to work within a team, and make quick decisions under pressure.
