Job Description
As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all customs clearance operations for imported and exported goods. You will work closely with government authorities and shipping companies to ensure compliance with all Omani customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all necessary customs documentation for goods
- Follow up on customs procedures with relevant government departments
- Ensure compliance with all customs laws and regulations
- Coordinate with shipping and transport companies for timely delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays in the clearance process
- Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions
- Advise the team on best practices in customs clearance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customs clearance
- Comprehensive knowledge of Omani customs regulations
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid customs clearance license (preferred)
