Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a dual role encompassing both logistical and commercial duties and is expected to uphold the highest professional standards in both areas. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Driving and Distribution Duties:

    • Safely and responsibly operate the company vehicle (likely a light commercial vehicle or van) in compliance with UAE traffic laws and regulations.
    • Execute regular delivery routes according to a set schedule to ensure timely delivery of goods or products to customers.
    • Ensure the vehicle is in good technical condition by performing basic daily checks before operation.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, both inside and out.
    • Handle loading and unloading of goods with care, verifying shipping and delivery orders for accuracy.
  • Sales and Service Duties:

    • Represent Cress Trading Agencies professionally to existing and potential customers.
    • Achieve defined sales targets through product promotion and direct customer service during delivery rounds.
    • Receive and record new customer orders and relay them to the sales management team.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven previous experience in a similar Driver Cum Salesman role. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in distribution or field sales within the trading or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English (verbal).
    • Polite, friendly personality with strong relationship-building abilities.
    • High reliability and commitment to punctuality.
    • Ability to work independently with strong self-discipline and effective time management.
    • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills for issues encountered in the field.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi's roads, areas, and surrounding regions is a significant advantage.
  • Status: The applicant must have a valid UAE residence permit and be able to transfer their sponsorship to the company if selected.
