• On-site Supervision: Directly supervising work crews and technicians during the electrical fitout phases across various project sites in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
• Planning & Execution: Reviewing electrical and architectural drawings, ensuring precise implementation according to technical and design specifications, while accommodating the requirements of luxury interior design.
• Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections to ensure electrical wiring, lighting fixture installations, switches, sockets, and control systems (e.g., smart lighting) comply with agreed standards and local/international safety regulations.
• Time & Cost Management: Contributing to adherence to project timelines and budgets, reporting any potential delays or cost overruns.
• Coordination: Working closely with Project Managers, Interior Designers, engineers from other disciplines (MEP), and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of all works.
• Safety: Enforcing strict safety procedures on-site to prevent accidents, ensuring all workers comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Reporting: Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, material status updates, and documenting any challenges or obstacles encountered during execution.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity in Dubai, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in supervising electrical works, with a strong focus on interior fitout projects for commercial, hospitality, and luxury residential buildings. Experience in Dubai or the UAE is a significant advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, local Dubai building regulations (knowledge of Civil Defense and Dubai Municipality regulations is key), and international standards (e.g., IEC, BS).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic and English).
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel between different project sites across Dubai.
