Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design and commercial estimation aspects of ELV systems across various projects. Key duties include:

• Engineering Design: Develop and design comprehensive ELV system drawings, including communications, networking, security systems (CCTV, Access Control), audio-visual systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Cost Proposal Preparation: Conduct detailed technical and financial analysis to prepare accurate project quotations, bids, and cost estimates.
• Requirements Analysis: Review project specifications and client requirements to ensure designs and estimates align with the required standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and accurate quotations for materials and equipment.
• Documentation Preparation: Prepare design reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and client presentations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to the sales team and project execution team during pre-sales and project implementation phases.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all designs and estimates comply with local UAE regulations and relevant international standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in ELV system design and estimation, with a track record of working on projects in the Gulf region, preferably within the UAE.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, specifically AutoCAD.
  • In-depth knowledge of ELV standards and systems (e.g., ISO, BS, NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Solid understanding of cost estimation methodologies and related software.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), ability to work effectively in a team, high attention to detail and accuracy, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Language: Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered a distinct advantage.
