Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding the business pipeline for Microsoft enterprise solutions. You will be the primary driver for generating new revenue and nurturing relationships with strategic clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve financial and organizational targets in the Qatari market, focusing on Microsoft's cloud and enterprise solution portfolio.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation, conducting discovery meetings, preparing technical and commercial proposals, to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients across enterprise and government sectors in Qatar. Deeply understand their technical and business challenges to deliver tailored Microsoft solutions that provide genuine business value.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical and consulting teams at Sapical Consulting to design compelling and comprehensive proposals that address complex customer requirements.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence: Analyze market trends in Qatar, track competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities in areas such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular and accurate reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: Proven track record of 5 to 7 years in IT sales, with a strong focus on selling Microsoft solutions to enterprises. Experience in the Gulf market, specifically Qatar, is a significant competitive advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microsoft enterprise products and solutions (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Security). Ability to discuss both technical and commercial aspects of these solutions with clients and engineers alike.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Mastery of strategic selling and complex, high-value sales cycles.
  • Communication & Relationship Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with C-level executives and key decision-makers in large organizations.
  • Academic Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications: Possession of relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals/Sales Specialist) is highly regarded.
  • Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong additional asset.
