Job Overview

The General Accountant will hold a pivotal role within the hotel's finance department. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Preparing and posting daily journal entries into the accounting system.

• Contributing to periodic inventory counts and financial reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of expense reports and following up on receivables.
• Maintaining organized physical and electronic archives of financial documents.
• Collaborating with other hotel departments (such as Rooms, F&B, and Purchasing) to gather necessary financial data.
• Adhering to applicable accounting regulations and standards in the UAE.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous accounting experience is preferred, with priority given to candidates who have experience in the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
