Human Resources Manager - Manama, Bahrain

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Manager will hold the leadership position responsible for all aspects of human capital management within the company. Their primary responsibilities will focus on:

  • Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing HR strategies and policies that align with the company's overall vision and strategic goals.
  • Talent Management & Recruitment: Leading the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying needs to final onboarding, to ensure the attraction and acquisition of top talent in the market.
  • Development & Training: Designing and implementing effective development and training programs to enhance employee skills and build career paths, contributing to increased productivity and talent retention.
  • Performance Management: Establishing and applying fair and comprehensive performance appraisal systems, linking them to incentive and development plans.
  • Legal Affairs & Compliance: Ensuring all HR practices and policies comply with local laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be an ideal candidate for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CIPD, SHRM) will be a strong added advantage.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of practical experience in the human resources field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager or Head of Department) in a similar work environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Bahraini labor laws and local practices. Experience in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related software.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
    • Problem-solving orientation and strategic decision-making.
    • High analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
