Job Description
The successful candidate will occupy a pivotal role within the finance and investment team, responsible for a range of critical tasks supporting financial reporting and liquidity management operations. Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compile periodic reports on the performance of the company's investment portfolio and its divisions.
- Contribute to the analysis of financial and investment data to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Assist in treasury activities, including monitoring cash flows and financial positions.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and policies in report preparation.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting models and processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare presentations and briefing reports for the investment committee and senior management.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding advanced professional certifications like CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or similar.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as financial reporting, financial analysis, or treasury management.
- Previous experience within the investment sector, holding companies, or financial institutions will be a significant advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and advanced Microsoft Office software packages, especially Excel.
Personal and Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- High integrity and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
