Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The selected IT Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's technical infrastructure. Key duties will include:

• Network Infrastructure Management & Maintenance: Overseeing the operation and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and ensuring stable and secure connectivity for all users and departments.
• Server & Systems Management: Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the company's servers (both physical and virtual), operating systems (such as Windows Server, Linux), and Active Directory services.
• Tier 2 & 3 Technical Support: Providing advanced technical support to resolve complex issues escalated from the first-line support team and responding to critical technical incidents.
• Cybersecurity & Protection: Implementing information security policies, ensuring systems are updated with the latest security patches, monitoring the network for potential threats, and safeguarding sensitive company data.
• Backup & Recovery Management: Developing and executing an effective data backup strategy for critical information and periodically testing recovery procedures to ensure preparedness for any contingency.
• User & Permissions Management: Creating new user accounts, managing permissions and access to network resources and applications, and disabling accounts upon departure.
• Documentation & Reporting: Documenting procedures, system configurations, and problem resolutions, and preparing periodic reports on the performance and health of the IT infrastructure.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (System Administrator, Network Administrator, or Technical Support Engineer) within a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, with any Linux knowledge being a strong plus).
  • Strong experience in managing and configuring Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and hardware (Cisco, HP, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Experience with fundamental cybersecurity concepts and firewall management.
  • Proficiency in managing backup systems (Veeam, Acronis, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Customer-service and support orientation.
