Job Overview

The IT Sales Manager will occupy a pivotal role in leading and developing the company's sales strategy. This individual will be primarily responsible for achieving revenue targets, building strategic relationships with new and existing clients, and overseeing the performance of the sales team. This is a leadership position that requires a deep understanding of IT solutions, the Saudi market, and exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and develop the comprehensive sales strategy for the company's IT products and/or services in the Riyadh region or nationwide.
  • Identify new business opportunities, pursue leads, and convert them into closed deals to achieve sales and revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including large enterprises and government entities.
  • Oversee the sales team, providing guidance, training, and setting individual and collective performance goals.
  • Prepare regular reports and analyses on sales performance, pipeline, and market forecasts for senior management.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to enhance the company's brand presence and expand the professional network.
  • Work closely with marketing and technical development departments to ensure product offerings align with market needs.
  • Prepare and present complex, high-value sales proposals and contracts.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership role (Sales Manager or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi IT market, including current and future trends.
  • Strong network of contacts within the business and technology sector in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize it for strategic decision-making.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team and achieve results through others.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales management tools.
