Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful Project Manager will be tasked with leading the Development Team and overseeing the complete project lifecycle. Core responsibilities will center on:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning: Providing dedicated leadership to the Development Team, formulating strategic and execution plans to ensure project objectives are met within the stipulated schedule and budget.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Supervising all project phases, from initial planning and budgeting, through execution and monitoring, to final delivery and post-project evaluation.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring all project deliverables adhere to the highest applicable local and international standards of quality and safety, with full compliance to Saudi regulations and project specifications.
  • Resource and Risk Management: Efficiently managing human and material resources. Proactively identifying, assessing, and developing mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Acting as the central liaison between the Development Team and all internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and other Parsons departments, to ensure seamless information flow and alignment.
  • Reporting: Preparing detailed periodic reports on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budgetary status for presentation to senior management.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered an ideal candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical) or Project Management from an accredited university. A Master’s degree or advanced professional certifications (e.g., PMP) will be a significant advantage.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in managing major engineering or construction projects, with a demonstrable track record of successful project delivery. Prior experience on infrastructure or development projects within the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
  • Professional Certification: Possession of a recognized project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or its equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). In-depth understanding of engineering and construction principles.
  • Soft Skills: Exemplary leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and driving teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in English; Arabic is a major plus. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to perform under pressure and make decisive judgments.
