Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Medical Equipment Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of medical products and health equipment to healthcare professionals, medical institutions, and individual clients. The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing new client accounts and maintaining relationships with existing customers within the assigned geographic territory (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah).
- Conducting persuasive and regular product presentations for medical devices, including home care equipment (such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, nebulizers) and more specialized apparatus.
- Possessing an in-depth understanding of the technical specifications and therapeutic benefits of each product to provide appropriate advice to clients.
- Achieving set monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by management.
- Performing regular field visits to clinics, doctors, hospitals, and other potential clients.
- Participating in medical exhibitions and conferences as needed to promote the company's products.
- Preparing periodic sales reports, tracking customer orders, and providing market feedback to management.
- Ensuring the highest standards of post-sales customer service to build loyalty and trust.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or Nursing). Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a specific degree.
- Experience: Proven prior experience of at least 2-3 years in medical equipment sales or pharmaceutical sales within the UAE market. Candidates with an established network in the healthcare sector will be given preference.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to achieve targets.
- Presentable, trustworthy personality with a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and effective time-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Licensing: The candidate must possess a valid driver's license, as the role involves consistent commuting within the assigned city.
