Job Description
Zulekha Hospital is looking for an exceptional Medical Oncologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing patient care throughout their treatment journey. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating new cases and developing comprehensive treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, etc.).
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team (surgeons, radiologists, nurses).
- Participating in clinical research and therapeutic trials if available.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment options and supportive care.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Board certification or Fellowship in Medical Oncology from a recognized international body (e.g., American Board, Canadian Fellowship, UK Royal College, or equivalent).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Medical Oncology post-specialization.
- Proven experience in managing various types of cancers.
- Licensing:
- Valid license to practice from the UAE Ministry of Health (DHA or MOHAP) or the ability to obtain one.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
