Job Description

A reputable consulting firm, via the Naukrigulf platform, is announcing an excellent career opportunity for a Production Engineer specialized in Pole Fabrication to work with one of their clients in Oman. This position targets experienced engineers in the manufacturing and production sector, particularly in the fabrication of metal or concrete poles used in infrastructure, energy, and telecommunications projects.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and improving production line efficiency. You will work within an integrated engineering team to develop manufacturing processes and ensure timely delivery of products according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pole fabrication processes from raw materials to finished products
• Develop and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with quality and occupational safety standards
• Manage production schedules and ensure targets are met
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and procurement teams
• Prepare production reports and analyze performance data
• Train supervisors and workers on best manufacturing practices
• Resolve technical issues that arise during the production process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pole fabrication or similar metal industries
• Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, and metal forming processes
• Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
