Warehouse Team Lead - Oman Investment Authority - Muscat

The Oman Investment Authority (OIA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join its team at the headquarters in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. This is an excellent opportunity for logistics and warehouse management professionals to work with one of the region's most prominent sovereign wealth funds.

The Oman Investment Authority is the sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman, managing a diversified investment portfolio that includes both domestic and international assets. The Authority aims to promote sustainable economic growth through strategic investments across multiple sectors.

Job Description

As the Warehouse Team Lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including:

  • Managing and directing the warehouse team to achieve performance targets
  • Overseeing receiving, storage, and shipping operations
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Optimizing inventory processes and minimizing waste
  • Preparing periodic reports for operations management
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
  • Previous team leadership experience (preferred)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Degree in logistics management or related field (preferred)
