Job Description

Asmacs Contracting Est. is seeking a qualified Project Cost Control Insulation Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling costs related to thermal and acoustic insulation projects, from initial estimation through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare initial cost estimates for insulation projects based on technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor and control approved project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Analyze cost variances and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing and quality.
• Review subcontractor contracts and invoices for compliance with agreed terms.
• Prepare change order documentation and assess their impact on project costs.
• Contribute to improving cost estimation processes and maintaining price databases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control for insulation or general contracting projects.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of thermal and acoustic insulation materials and systems.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
