- Emergency Preparedness: Ensure the readiness of firefighting equipment, first-aid supplies, and site emergency evacuation plans.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational Qualification: A university degree (Diploma or Bachelor's) in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health and Safety (HSE), or a related field.
- Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH (International General Certificate as a minimum), IOSH, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience: This position is suitable for fresh graduates looking to launch their career in HSE, as well as professionals with limited experience (1-3 years) in a similar role within the engineering, construction, or oil & gas project sectors.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of HSE management systems (e.g., OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001) and the local Qatari regulatory framework governing workplace safety.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in English. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, firm decisions when necessary.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to influence others and enforce safety requirements with confidence and professionalism.
