QC Inspector - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) – United Arab Emirates
Job Overview
A great career opportunity is available for a Quality Control Inspector specializing in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to work in the United Arab Emirates. Walk-in interviews will be conducted in Chennai, India on May 9th and 10th, 2026. This position is ideal for experienced professionals in quality inspection within industrial and oil & gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of electrical equipment and instrumentation devices in accordance with approved standards and technical specifications.
- Review quality documentation and ensure materials and installations comply with engineering drawings.
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports, documenting any deviations or non-conformities.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure proper implementation of quality procedures.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards during all inspection activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection for electrical and instrumentation, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, or ASNT Level II in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) are highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking), strong communication skills, ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with international standards including IEC, IEEE, NEC, and ISO 9001.
