Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of the company's software applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver flawless products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify software bugs and performance issues.
- Document, track, and manage defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Generate detailed test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
