Job Overview
The Quality Assurance and Process Modernisation Manager will be responsible for leading and developing comprehensive quality assurance strategies while spearheading initiatives for process modernisation and improvement within the organization. This role sits at the heart of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with the highest international standards while driving innovation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and develop the company's overall Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with stringent industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and local/international regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement modern process modernisation strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction across various departments.
- Manage internal audit teams and ensure the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
- Analyze process and performance data to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of modernisation initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Oversee the development and updating of operational documentation and procedures to reflect best practices.
- Lead digital transformation projects related to process improvement and quality assurance automation.
- Ensure all processes meet or exceed customer and contractual requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace), Business Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance and operations management, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in high-tech engineering or manufacturing industries, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or automotive sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for work on defense-related projects.
