Quality Manager - Turner & Townsend (Riyadh)

Job Overview

The Quality Manager will hold a pivotal leadership role within the organization, responsible for leading and implementing quality management strategies and systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with project management teams, clients, and contractors to ensure compliance with the highest international standards and contractual requirements, fostering a culture of continuous excellence and improvement within the company.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with international standards such as ISO 9001.
• Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to established quality policies and procedures.
• Guide and achieve project and corporate quality objectives, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding quality management best practices, review procedures, and document control.
• Investigate non-conformances and quality-related incidents, identify root causes, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and build capability within teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory bodies on all quality and compliance matters.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Recognized professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE from ASQ, or Certified Quality Manager).
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a Quality Management role, with a strong focus on the construction, infrastructure, or major projects sector.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in implementing ISO 9001 standards and other QMS.
• Proven proficiency in conducting internal and external quality audits.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills for solving complex problems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
