Job Description

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Regional Demand & Flight Manager. This role is critical in managing and optimizing the airline's regional route network, ensuring a balance between supply and demand across various destinations.

The successful candidate will work within the strategic network planning team and will be responsible for analyzing market data, forecasting travel demand, and developing optimal flight schedules that maximize operational revenue and fleet utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze regional travel demand data, including seasonal trends and competitive dynamics.
• Develop regional flight schedules in coordination with operations, marketing, and sales teams.
• Monitor the performance of existing flights and provide recommendations to improve operational factors such as departure and arrival times.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns that boost demand for key destinations.
• Prepare periodic reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as load factor and revenue per seat.
• Participate in negotiations with destination airports to secure optimal slots.
• Support the regional sales team in achieving revenue targets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Aviation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network management or flight scheduling within an airline.
• Deep understanding of the aviation industry in the Gulf and Middle East region.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or revenue management systems).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make strategic decisions.
