Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be the primary provider of specialized and safe nursing care to patients in their homes. Key responsibilities will include:
- Direct Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, administer medications accurately as per prescriptions, and perform nursing procedures such as wound care, injections, and vital signs monitoring.
- Care Plan Management: Collaborate closely with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare providers to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families regarding their health condition, treatment plan, self-care techniques, and lifestyle adjustments. Provide emotional and psychological support.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Closely monitor patient conditions, identify any changes or complications, and report them promptly to the attending physician. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Compliance and Standards: Adhere strictly to all company-approved protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as the ethical and legal standards of the nursing profession in the UAE.
- Coordination: Effectively coordinate with care coordinators and other team members to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a recognized Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid nursing license from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOH) or be eligible to obtain one. A "Registered Nurse" (RN) license is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience. Previous experience in home healthcare, community nursing, geriatric care, or long-term care is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic and advanced nursing skills, with a strong understanding of infection control procedures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic/English), empathy, patience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a team spirit. High levels of integrity and reliability.
- Other Requirements: The candidate must have a valid driver's license and the ability to commute between patient homes in the Al Ain area.
