Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading Canon's expansion efforts within the Saudi client base. This role is strategically focused on identifying new opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and closing deals with new clients across various sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- New Business Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies aimed at acquiring new clients for Canon's diverse range of products and solutions, including office and commercial printing systems, document management solutions, and advanced security and camera systems.
- Prospecting & Qualification: Actively hunt for new business opportunities through various channels such as professional networking, professional social media (e.g., LinkedIn), event participation, and lead follow-ups.
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead the entire sales process from inception to closure, including initial outreach, conducting discovery and presentation meetings, preparing tailored technical and commercial proposals, contract negotiation, and finalizing the sale.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, long-term business relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies (e.g., Procurement Managers, IT Heads, Facility Managers).
- Market Understanding: Conduct continuous market and competitor analysis within the Riyadh region to understand the evolving needs of potential clients and position the most suitable solutions from Canon's portfolio.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal technical support teams, post-sales teams, and marketing departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from the first point of contact.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A proven track record of 3 to 5 years in IT Sales or Office Solutions sales, with a demonstrable history of successfully acquiring new clients. Experience selling products such as printers, document management systems, or security cameras is a significant advantage.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. You must be able to engage effectively with contacts at all levels within target organizations.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to understand, analyze, and address complex customer needs with value-based solutions.
- Drive & Discipline: A highly self-motivated individual capable of working independently with the discipline to meet and exceed targets and quotas.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Arabic, spoken and written, as communication with clients and the team will be in both languages.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Location: Residency in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, or willingness to relocate.
