Fugro Geotech Private Ltd., a global leader in geotechnical and engineering services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity arises from the company's continued growth and expansion in the region.

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and prepare periodic reports for senior management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Reviewing and approving journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Overseeing internal and external audit processes.
  • Analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with Saudi tax and Zakat regulations.
  • Training and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
